Nominations open Tuesday, 7 March at 7.00pm until Sunday, 26 March at 5.00pm.
Anyone working in the Southern Lakes hospitality industry can fill out a nomination form. The 'industry' encompasses all owners and workers at hospitality establishments and their direct suppliers. If you are unsure whether you are eligible to submit a nomination form, please email events@restaurantnz.co.nz.
You are asked to give your name, email address, and company name when submitting your nomination form.
You can nominate anyone working in the Southern Lakes hospitality industry, however you cannot nominate your colleagues or fellow employees, or the establishment you work for.
If your establishment is part of a group, you cannot nominate any staff members or establishments within the wider group.
Please NB: Employers/Managers can nominate their employees in the Emerging Chef category.
Each establishment can only submit five nomination forms per business, any forms received over and above this will be disregarded.

To keep it fair, no individual is entitled to nominate themselves or the establishment they work for.
The Southern Lakes Hospitality Awards is open to all members of the industry...
However, it does pay to become a member of the Restaurant Association as there are a whole raft of benefits that can help you and your business.

Once nominations close, the nominations are collated and the finalists will be contacted with further information.
Finalists will then be announced on our Facebook Page on Tuesday, 4 April at 7.00pm and voting opens.
You can vote for your favourite (from the finalists in each category) online from Tuesday, 4 April at 7.00pm.
Voting closes on Sunday, 23 April at 5.00pm.
Same rules apply for the voting form as they do the nomination form.

Anyone! The awards night is a celebration of the industry as a whole. We encourage people from all sides of the industry to come along.
Tickets are $105 per person ($95 for RA members).
PLEASE NOTE - Ticket numbers are strictly limited (due to venue capacity) so avoid missing out buy purchasing your tickets early.
